Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, depart from Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a scenic
drive to Kibale National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa.
Enjoy breathtaking views of tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural communities
along the way. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, check in, and relax.
If time permits, take a guided nature walk around the lodge or visit nearby
communities for a cultural experience.

Accommodation: Turacco treetops lodge/ Kibale Forest camp/Primate lodge.
Day 2 - Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before
starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by an experienced
ranger guide, venture into the tropical rainforest in search of habituated
chimpanzee families.
Once located, spend an unforgettable hour observing these fascinating primates
as they feed, groom, communicate, and swing through the forest canopy. Besides
chimpanzees, you may encounter other primates, birds, and forest wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a
community-managed wetland famous for its rich birdlife, monkeys, butterflies,
and beautiful scenery.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Turacco treetops/ Kibale Forest camp/primate lodge.
Day 3 - Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy the scenic countryside and make stopovers for photography, local crafts, or
refreshments along the route.
