Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival and Transfer to hotel.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our tour
guide who will drive you to the hotel. You will a chance to have a city tour
depending on the time of arrival.
Dinner and overnight in Kampala.
Day 2 - Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national Park.
Begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the
endangered mountain gorillas.
Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s rolling hills, traditional
homesteads, tea plantations, and local markets. You will have a stop at the
Equator for photography and lunch before continuing to Bwindi. Arrive in the
evening, check into your lodge, relax, and prepare for the next day’s
unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 3 - Gorilla trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience and Community Visit
After an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by
park rangers about gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. You will then enter
the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
The trek may take a few hours depending on the gorillas’ movements, but the
experience is truly rewarding. Walking through the misty forest while listening to
birds and forest sounds creates an unforgettable adventure. Once the gorillas are
located, you will spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, play, and
interact.
After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and sharing stories from the
experience. Afternoon, enjoy a cultural encounter with the Batwa community, the
original forest dwellers of Bwindi. Learn about their traditional hunting
techniques, herbal medicine, music, dance, and ancient forest lifestyle.
Later, visit nearby local communities, craft shops, or enjoy a guided nature walk
around the forest edge. This day offers a deeper understanding of the culture and
traditions surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation.

Day 4 - Transfer Back to Entebbe and Departure
Enjoy breakfast before beginning your return journey to Entebbe International
Airport. Along the way, enjoy more scenic countryside views and optional
stopovers for souvenirs and photography.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure
flight, marking the end of your memorable gorilla trekking safari in Uganda.
