Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Entebbe International Airport -Transfer to the hotel.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide or company representative after completing immigration and baggage collection procedures. The airport offers a calm and friendly atmosphere with beautiful views of Lake Victoria nearby. After meeting your guide in the arrivals area, you will receive a short briefing about your safari before transferring to your hotel or beginning your journey. Along the way, expect to experience Uganda’s warm hospitality, lively surroundings, and your first glimpse of the country’s vibrant culture and scenic landscapes, making it a memorable start to your adventure. You can have Kampala city tour depending on the time of arrival.

Day 2 - Transfer to Kidepo valley national Park

Morning: Begin your safari journey with an early morning pick-up from the Hotel Meet your professional safari guide start the scenic drive northwards through Uganda’s countryside. Since the drive from Entebbe/Kampala is long (10–12 hours this route breaks the journey have en-route Lunch and proceed enjoy views of local villages, rolling landscapes, and roadside markets along the way.  Reach evening hours head to Adere safari lodge stay preparing morning game drive.

Day 3 - Game drive and Karamojong cultural experience.

Morning: Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the famous Narus Valley, the wildlife-rich section of the park. This area has permanent water sources that attract large numbers of animals throughout the year.

Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes. Kidepo is also one of the few places in Uganda where cheetahs can be spotted.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before enjoying an evening sundowner experience.

Afternoon: visit a traditional Karamojong community to learn about their unique pastoral culture and lifestyle. Interact with local elders, visit traditional manyattas, and enjoy traditional dances and storytelling.

Day 4 - Nature walk in Kidepo Valley & Kanangorok Hot Springs.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk accompanied by an armed ranger. This activity allows you to experience the wilderness closely while learning about tracks, plants, birds, and smaller wildlife species.

Later, proceed to the Kanangorok Hot Springs near the South Sudan border. The area offers stunning scenery and chances to spot ostriches and other wildlife.

Evening: Relax at the lodge or take a short night game drive to spot nocturnal species like caracals or hyenas.

After breakfast, depart Kidepo and begin the long drive southwards toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy scenic landscapes and stopovers for lunch and refreshments along the route.

Arrive in the evening for relaxation.

Day 6 - Game Drive -Boat cruise or Visit Top of the falls.

Morning: Game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Expect to see Rothschild giraffes, lions, and perhaps a leopard.

Afternoon: Take a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. You’ll see hippos, massive crocodiles, and diverse birdlife or opt to visit Top of the Falls.

Highlight: Game drive, visit to the Top of the Falls or boat cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch& Lunch.

Day 7 - Return to Kampala- visit Ziwa rhino sanctuary.

In the morning, enjoy guided rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen.

After the experience, continue back to Kampala procced to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
