Day 1: Arrival Entebbe International Airport.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport; you will be welcomed by our
well-trained guide from Uganda Tourist Guide Safaris, greet and transfer to Lake
Victoria Serena for dinner and night stay depending on the arrival time.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
After your early morning breakfast you will transfer to Murchison Falls National
Park you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Ziwa is
Uganda’s only place where you can see wild rhinos in their natural habitat.
Located in Nakasongola District, about 3 hours north of Kampala on the way to
Murchison Falls National Park.
Rhino tracking at Ziwa is a unique walking safari experience. Unlike traditional
game drives, visitors track the rhinos on foot together with armed ranger guides.
After a short briefing, you walk through the savannah and bush while following
fresh rhino tracks and signs until you find them grazing or resting. Visitors are
normally allowed to observe the rhinos from a short distance.
Have en-route lunch along the Ziwa. The journey proceeds to the national park
visit the Top of the falls in the evening return to the Entikko safari lodge for dinner
and night stay.
Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise.
You will have your early morning breakfast later head inside Murchison falls
national park for a perfect game drive a thrilling wildlife adventure usually done
early in the morning, drive northern bank around the Buligi Peninsula and Delta
tracks, where wildlife is abundant. During the drive, visitors travel in 4x4 safari
vehicles with pop-up roofs for easy viewing and photography. You can expect to
see elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs,
hartebeests, and if lucky, predators like lions and leopards. The open savannah
landscapes and beautiful sunrise views make the experience unforgettable after
return to the lodge for lunch
Afternoon Boat cruise is calling head to the bottom of the falls for a perfect boat
cruise the perfect combination of wildlife viewing, scenery, photography, and
adventure in Uganda’s most famous safari park get ready for a breathtaking view
of hippos, elephants, and crocodiles along the river in the evening dinner and
night go the Entikko safari lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After early morning breakfast procced to Kibale national park is one of Uganda’s
most beautiful tropical rainforests and is widely known as the “Primate Capital of
the World.” The park has over 1,500 chimpanzees, making it the best place in
Uganda to observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. During the
trekking experience, visitors walk through the forest with experienced guides
while listening to the sounds of birds and monkeys. Once the chimpanzees are
found, tourists can spend one hour watching them feed, play, groom, and
communicate with each other. You will have en-route lunch at the point of interest
Head to Kibale Tourist lodge relax in the preparation for Chimpanzee tracking in
the next morning.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp walk.
Wakeup early morning, have morning breakfast head to the park headquarters for
belief meeting later proceed to the park for Chimpanzee tracking this will take you
2-4 hours prepare to encounter with chimpanzees for one hour.
Apart from chimpanzees, the park is home to 12 other primate species including
black-and-white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, L’Hoest
monkeys, blue monkeys, olive baboons, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Kibale is
also rich in birdlife with more than 370 bird species, making it a paradise for bird
watchers. Later return back for lunch.
Afternoon for prepare nature walks, bird watching, community visits, the Bigodi
Wetland Sanctuary walk, where you can enjoy more wildlife and cultural
experiences. The park can be visited throughout the year, though the dry seasons
from June to September and December to February are considered the best for
trekking activities.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This transfer will take you 2hrs, have breakfast then procced to Queen Elizabeth
national park head to Mweya safari lodge for lunch relax as you prepare for an
evening game drive as one of the most exciting safari experiences. The activity is
usually conducted in the late afternoon and continues into sunset, offering a
chance to explore the park when many animals become more active after the
daytime heat.
The game drive commonly takes place in the Kasenyi Plains and other wildlife-rich
sectors of the park. As the temperatures cool, large herds of Uganda Kobs,
buffaloes, elephants, and waterbucks can be seen grazing across the open
savannah. Warthogs, giant forest hogs, and hyenas are also frequently spotted
during the drive. The evening hours are especially rewarding because predators
such as lions and leopards begin hunting at this time, increasing the chances of
memorable wildlife sightings.
Day 7: Game drive and Boat cruise.
Wake up early morning have breakfast and head to the park for early morning one
of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Uganda. Ishasha is famous for its
unique tree-climbing lions, vast savannah plains, fig trees, and rich wildlife
diversity. The drive usually starts very early in the morning, around 6:30 am, when
animals are most active and the weather is still cool.
As the sun rises over the golden plains, have an opportunity to spot large
mammals beginning their day, return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon procced to Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel is one of the most
exciting wildlife activities it lasts about 2 to 3 hours. As the boat slowly moves
along the calm waters, enjoy spectacular views of animals gathering at the
shoreline to drink, cool off, and hunt for food. Large schools of hippos can be seen
relaxing in the water, while giant Nile crocodiles bask along the bank observe
wildlife at a very close distance, making it one of the best photography
opportunities in Uganda.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Wake up have breakfast prepare to depart to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
most remarkable rainforest destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
located in southwestern Uganda. Famous for its endangered mountain gorillas,
Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla
population, making it one of the best places on earth for gorilla trekking
experiences.
The park covers about 331 square kilometers of thick tropical rainforest, mist
covered hills, deep valleys, and bamboo forests. Its name “Impenetrable” comes
from the dense vegetation that once made the forest difficult to pass through.
Gorilla trekking is the main activity in Bwindi. Visitors hike through the jungle with
experienced rangers.
You will have an enroute lunch then procced to Buhoma forest lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience.
Wakeup early morning, have early morning breakfast you arrive at the park
headquarters around 7:00 AM for a briefing on safety and gorilla etiquette. The
trek can last to 6 hours or more, depending on where the gorillas are nesting that
day. Once you find the gorilla family, you are allowed one hour to observe them.
Seeing a 400-pound silverback or a playful infant from just a few meters away is a
profound experience.
Afternoon opt for Batwa cultural experience or go for zip-ling at lake Mutanda
which is located between Mgahinga and Bwindi gorilla national parks, this activity
provides stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes Park, primarily acting as a scenic
hub for visitors tracking in the Nkuringo and Rushaga sectors. The lake is located
in the Kisoro District, providing a relaxing.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
Have the early morning breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo national park. The park
is home to a rich variety of wildlife including zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes,
hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, and over 300 bird species such as the African fish
eagle It is also the only park in Uganda where you can easily see large populations
of impalas and Burchell’s zebras. Activities around Lake Mburo include boat
cruises on the lake, game drives, nature walks, bird watching, horseback safaris,
and cycling safaris. The boat cruise is especially popular for viewing hippos,
crocodiles, and water birds up close.
You will have enroute lunch at Ingogo cultural center procced to lake Mburo
national park night and dinner head to Kigambira safari lodge.
Day 11: Horse riding and nature walks.
You will have morning breakfast head to the park for a guided nature walk one of
the park’s highlights it allows you to explore the savannah on foot, accompanied
by an armed ranger. Walking through the bush gives you a closer, more intimate
connection with the environment.
During the walk, you can encounter animals such as zebras, impalas, giraffes,
elands, warthogs, and various antelope species at a close but safe distance. Unlike
game drives, walking lets you notice smaller details—animal tracks, insects,
medicinal plants, bird calls, and the fresh scent of acacia woodland.
Bird lovers especially enjoy this activity, as Lake Mburo is home to over 300 bird
species, including papyrus specialists and colorful savannah birds. The experience
is quiet, slow-paced, and highly immersive, making it ideal for photographers and
nature enthusiasts.
Afternoon you can opt for horse riding or Boat cruise depending on your point of
interest.
Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe Airport- International flight
Have morning breakfast, prepare and depart to Entebbe you will have enroute
lunch then head to Entebbe International Airport for your international flight.
