Murchison falls National Park is located in the north eastern part of Uganda and its has got variety of unique tourist attractions which have continuously attracted many safari tours to Uganda. This park has got the wonderful falls which is long enough to attract hikers and the tourists interested in adventure. Many visitors have visited the top of the falls and have enjoyed the unique surroundings of these falls which has attracted the increasing numbers of people to the falls.
The park has got the source of the Nile which encourages the boat cruises which are carried out and these help the tourists on the safari visits to enjoy variety of animals which include; the hippos, crocodiles, water birds and many others. There are also many game drives which are carried out with in the park, these help in availing a big opportunity to the tourists in order to view many animals which include; the antelopes, lions, buffalos, kobs, snakes, monkeys and many more.
Just near the national park, there is Budongo forest which has got many primates and these include; the chimpanzees, monkeys and the bird species which are all over the forest. Tourists carry out chimpanzee trekking with in the forest where you will enjoy the unique characteristics of the chimpanzees, these includes; the way they feed, they way they play and many more unique features. Along the way to the national park, there is Zziwa Rhino sanctuary which can be enjoyed by the tourists, here it can be a stopover but you will explore many species of Rhinos and many other animals which are found within the park. The park has got many accommodation facilities which help the tourists who come for Uganda safaris , these include; Paara safari Lodge, Pakuba Lodge, Chobe Lodge, Red chilli lodge, Bwana Tembo Lodge and many more.
