Trip starts off with a tour around Kampala city followed a gorilla tour in Bwindi forest. Game drive and launch cruise in Queen Elizabeth park plus Chimp tracking in Kibale forest
Day 1, Kampala City Tour
Meet with our Company Guide at your Hotel and depart for the Kampala city tour. Visit religious places like Gadafi National Mosque on Old Kampala hill, Namugongo Martyrs shrine, Bahai Temple the only of its kind in East Africa. Have lunch at any place of your interest with in the town and in the afternoon visit the Uganda Museum, cultural places like the Kasubi tombs, the Lubiri (Twekobe house), the Kabaka’s lake and in the evening go for Night club visits to Club silk, Imbecap, Angenoir and so on. Return to your Hotel late at night for overnight stay.
Day 2, Depart for Bwindi National Park
Depart from your Hotel in Kampala in the morning and transfer to western Uganda. You will have a stop over at the Equator and this will give you time to have photographs. On your way you will see lots of the long horned Ankole cattle, the rolling hills and terraced landscapes of the region, and beautiful panoramas that are part of Western Uganda. You will have a lunch break en route at Lake View Regency Hotel Mbarara. Proceed and drive direct to the park and arrive late evening. Overnight at Lake Kitandara luxury tents/ Buhoma Community bandas/Gorilla resort/Bwindi view Bandas
Day 3, Mountain Gorilla Tracking
Early in the morning after breakfast and briefing from the Uganda wildlife official guides, set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the Bwindi forests. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous, you are advised to carry your packed lunch, drinking water and wear comfortable boots or jungle shoes suitable for steep muddy slopes with in the forest. You are also advised also to take along the walking sticks which will be made available. After Gorilla tracking return back for dinner and overnight at Lake Kitandara luxury tents/ Buhoma Community bandas/Gorilla resort/Bwindi view Bandas
Day 4, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is rich in wildlife and others call it a birder’s paradise. You will pass through the famous Ishasha Sector which is famous for the tree-climbing lions. Check in late evening at Mweya Safari Lodge / Mweya Institute of ecology/Hippo Hill camp/Jacana Safari Lodge/Simba safari lodge
Day 5, Game drive and launch cruise
Have an early morning game drive in this park, which will provide you with excellent opportunities to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more. Return to the lodge for lunch and after, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. The launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Day 6, transfer to Kibale national parks.
After breakfast, go for the chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. This is a lucrative experience because it also enables you to see the gorgeous river valley that houses numerous birds and butterfly species, Return to the lodge for lunch and after transfer to Kibale National Park, which is a home of Primates. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Safari Lode /Chimp guest house/Primate lodge/Chimps Nest.
Day 7, Chimpanzee tracking
Have a morning breakfast and depart for the chimp tracking in Kibale forest National Park. along the walks you may sport chimps, white colobus monkeys, , grey-checked mangabey, red colobus, black-and-white colobus, Baboons and chimpanzees bird species such as the great blue turacco, Africa pied king fisher , malkites. In the afternoon, go for the Forest/Nature walk in the Bigodi swamp. Dinner and over night stay as above
Day 8, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, visit the crater lakes region, and later proceed to Kampala with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel in Kampala.
